Trainer Biography
Bill Weiler is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), graduated from the Animal Behavior College with Honors, and was awarded the Dip.CBST title from the Companion Animal Science Institute (Certified Member) under James O’Heare. He is a member of the Companion Animal Science Institute Advisory Board of Directors and is an Associate Member of The International Behaviorology Institute.  He is also a Certified Pet Tech Instructor for CPR/First Aid for Pets. He is a Premium Professional Member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), a Certified Member of the Association of Animal Behavior Professionals (AABP), and a Supporting Member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC). His training methods are strictly Positive in nature and he is proficient in Clicker Training. Other memberships include the American Brittany Club, and he is a Guardian with the ASPCA and the Humane Society of America. He also has many years of experience in the breeding, handling, and training of field dogs, including Beagles, English Springer Spaniels, and Brittanys. Behavior Modification Programs and Problem-solving for “hard to place” dogs and dogs with “issues” are specialties.
